Tell Time Goodbye for Me
I knew that I was going to kick shit off in January. Expanding the business, working on more personal projects, and generally self improving…all the stuff I planned on. This wasn’t part of a new year’s resolution or any of that type of bullshit, but rather just that the things I’ve been putting together for the past 4 years are finally in place.
I hadn’t counted on it being quite this busy though. Yesterday, I went through a long day full of stressful work after not sleeping for 34 hours. That was rough. But, we finished the day off with a few beers and a blunt and I slept like a baby and woke up feeling more refreshed than I have in months.
The only downside of being this busy is not actually having time for personal projects. No graffiti, no “just for fun” short films, no masturbating…that kind of thing. The upside is money and meeting people and feeling like you’re getting somewhere in life. With all variables measured, I think I can actually trace improvements I’ve made in my life, even if they’re acute by comparison to others. Who knows though, maybe the data hasn’t been collected long enough to get an accurate reading.
I did make it onto the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle 2 times in less than 3 months. Once in a riot, and yesterday during a charity event for MLK day. Yeah, I like to cover the spectrum.
Hopefully I have time at the end of this month to actually work on some of the “artistic” endeavors I’ve been meaning to get around to. Until then I’m probably going to remain boring, especially here on Tumblr. We’ll see.

I find myself curiously aroused by blind creeps and awesome chicks from New York, so having both of those qualities would have been double the trouble in my pants! Obviously, I possess the creep quality, but lack the awesome one.
In all honesty, I’m flattered. Glad to see you haven’t dropped off the grid and there’s actually interesting and humorous stuff to read once again.

Responsibility
I spend a lot of money on things I shouldn’t spend money on. Bills? Well, they’re not due until next month and I can make all this money back that I’m about to spend…I mean, I’m pretty sure I can. Well, if I spend it, then I’ll have to make it back and that’ll motivate me to get stuff done.
Terrible logic. But it’s worked for years. I have a knack for that shit. I’m self employed, so no paycheck is ever guaranteed. But fuck it.
Gas masks, spray paint, gasoline, bridge tolls, a new prime lens for the DSLR, an HD field monitor, beer…mainly beer. It all adds up quick. Especially when you’re the one buying the rounds. I think I’m also gonna buy a banjo for the hell of it.
Weird how that works. Oh well, at least it makes life more interesting.
